It was 2008, I was 17 years old, and I was about to leave the country for the first time in my life. I was so excited to be going on my first mission trip! I went with my drama team, CrossWave, and that trip changed my perspective on the world. It also did something else that I wasn’t expecting. It was on that trip that Brandon and I started falling in love with each other.
