Knezi and Andrew met through mutual friends when neither of them were looking for a relationship. As they started to see a lot more of each other, they realized how much they had in common and enjoyed each other’s company!

On one of their first dates, Andrew got Kenzi a bouquet of red roses and told her that when she got her 100th red rose, he would propose to her (how stinkin’ romantic is that?!). Over the years that they dated, Andrew would give her red roses for various occasions or just because, a bouquet here…a single rose there, and Kenzi kept count of how many she had received in a note on her phone. Sometimes Andrew would try to throw her off with different colored roses, or fake ones. Then, one day, she only had about 20 red roses to go until they reached 100, and as they were walking on the beach, Kenzi saw a red rose stuck in the sand, and when she looked, she saw a trail of them along the beach! Kenzi went running ahead of Andrew, excitedly picking up each one and counting out loud the whole way, “EIGHTY-FIVE! EIGHTY-SIX! EIGHTY-SEVEN!” When she got to 100, Andrew got on one knee and proposed to her (after he caught up to her running down the beach, haha)!

Kenzi and Andrew just love being together, and you can tell that they are truly best friends! We had such a blast capturing their wedding in one of our favorite coastal towns, Beaufort, NC! Kenzi and Andrew are a fun-loving, jolly, and energetic couple. Even so, they weren’t afraid to show their soft side on their wedding day, and we loved capturing all the beauty of their day! It was such a blessing to serve them!
