Tori and Jason met each other on Match.com in June 2018 and got engaged only six months later on New Year’s Eve 2018! They set a wedding date for April of 2020, and we all know what happened then. Tori and Jason went ahead and got married in 2020 in a little backyard ceremony with their families, hoping to have their big wedding celebration later. As the year went on, they decided to postpone their wedding multiple times, pushing their big celebration down the road again and again.

Finally, Tori and Jason made the heartbreaking decision to cancel their big wedding. BUT they didn’t want to totally give up! On their one year anniversary, they got all dressed up and had an intimate, elopement-style vow reading together at Morgan Farms! It was the sweetest time with just the two of them!

After getting ready, they had a first look where Jason got to see Tori in her wedding dress for the first time. Then they stood together and read their vows to each other that they had been saving for their big wedding, and it was SO special to hear them finally get to share that with each other!

The rest of our time together was laid back and simple. We got shots of the two of them being cute together (AND being cute with the baby lambs)! We played their song on our phone so they could have a first dance together, which made everyone cry! 😭🥲 Then they cut a little cake that their neighbor had randomly brought them the day before! Their neighbor had remembered Tori mentioning A YEAR AGO that they were postponing their wedding and brought them a cake! She had no idea that they were doing their small ceremony the next day, how crazy is that?! The timing was perfect! It’s often the little blessings that show us God cares.

One of the best parts of the video, though, was Tori and Jason’s surprise announcement…they are having a BABY! We were all so excited for them, and it was so fun to include that little detail into their film! It also gave their vows an extra layer of meaning. We are so excited to share Tori and Jason’s film with everyone!
